Description |
The in game timer runs around 5 seconds faster in 1 downhill run which takes 23.5 in game for arcade and 28.5 in mame. The actual real time is within 1/2 second though. Looks like it's a Z80 waitstate issue, schematics show that the WAIT pin is connected to several things. If you underclock the maincpu in MAME, it affects the game timer rate. Strange that they didn't use a vsync counter for the timer. |
