Description |
Hello. Ubuntu 20.04.6 Nvidia driver 470.182.03 GT 640. The error happen when using BGFX both opengl and vulkan and bitmap prescale 2 or above. When starting an game for first time using HLSL bitmap prescale 2 or above the video is rendered correctly using 100 % screen area, but when closing and after restarting the same game will be loaded with HLSL with video rendering using less of 50 % screen area. Screenshots are saved correctly. Thus I have saved an window screenshot. @Fujix "Are you reporting a bug or a feature request? Testers is not your feature request board, please refrain from adding such "reports"." about the message above ... you don't have to worry with me. Thus being for avoid bad understand. Text need details to see what is the author's motivation. I saw topics here with title "Feature Request" having replies ... Thus I had created few topics using title "Feature Request" because for me was as an default title naming when saying about new features, but not exactly "request". I had created 2 topics ... Image Filtering and cpu overclocking and refresh rate in an new debug menu ... both make sense ... enabling cpu overclock with "cheats" does users think that setting is for gameplay .. confused. However my messages not are about orders ... I not want to read that type of message here and less still devs doing good deeds and not having an blessed path of retribution in that world. MAME devs , you and others not are forced to do it. The team , you with mametesters and others has done good deeds in my path in that laboratory called "life". In moment people with illness are in hospitals using MAME and thus having happiness. I wait one day to do something in the project more than simple bug reports ... I not see MAME as being an software with an list to do for gameplay, but an mission. Thanks very much for allowing me report bugs in your MT host server. Have an nice week. |

This isn't strictly an opengl and vulkan backend problem. I am on Windows 10 and this affects all of the bgfx backends in conjunction with the hlsl shader chain using prescale > 1. Anyone up for a game of tiny-puckman? https://i.imgur.com/a9SxTfw.png https://i.imgur.com/v638f86.png This happens in 0.255 too. It does this regardless if on the first run or subsequent. (prescale > 1) + bgfx + hlsl = bad. |
