Summary | 08618: megatech: Display for Master System games shrinks if there's a Mega Drive game in another slot
Description | If there's a slot with a Mega Drive game in it, the Master System games will be displayed in a smaller and uncentered window.
Steps To Reproduce |
-Load megatech and choose mt_aftrb or another Master System game from its software list. The game screen will look fine. -Go to File Manager and load a Mega Drive game on any empty cart slot (for example, slot2 mt_beast). Now the game screen for the Master System game will shrink. |

Additional Information | This is not a regression, it already happened in previous main builds.

Also... This bug made it apparent that MAME actually does render the full border but then crops it, so this might be a good opportunity to kill two birds with one stone and leave the default view uncropped, since it happens to be another one of those systems with visible colored borders around the screen (and was up to the user to hide them if the monitor allowed them to): |

I tested with After Burner and with Altered Beasts. Only After Burner was affected - Altered Beast was properly centered. Then I tried with Altered Beasts and Crack Down - both displayed ok. Then I added After Burner as cart3 - it showed the problem again. It seems the issue may be limited to After Burner. You might want to do some more testing, and correct the Summary. |

Mega Drive games (such as Altered Beast) look fine, this report is about the Master System games. |
