Can you explain further? The first thing I notice was the off-beat bassdrum in the music, but if I listen closely, it's also on the PCB video. My ears also say the music on the PCB video is more tinny, that can be due to filtering. And it looks like the PCB video is sped up to 60hz, so it's faster than it should be. Either ther person's video software, or youtube, converted the video to 60hz. Truxton framerate is 57.6hz. |

Ok I can hear it, one of the instruments (or volume of one of the channels) is too loud compared to PCB. In the stage 1 tune it is part of the chord, instead of 3 notes being similar volume, one of them is too loud. more pcb vids: |

Finally tracked this down, was missing a right shift in certain configurations of operators. Thanks for the detailed report. Took me a while to isolate the issue, but is obvious now that I see it. I've updated my ymfm library, and will push accumulated changes to MAME soon. |
