Additional Information On some systems (for example, on Mega Drive/Genesis) music may normalize after few dozen seconds of stucking, but sometimes it doesn't.

 I have tried numerous arcade games with OPM/N synth using the Load/Save state and wasn't able to replicate the issue. However, when loading Sonic the Hedgehog on the Genesis system, I could get the game to freeze for a few seconds after loading a save state. Is this the issue you are talking about? It will help if you are more specific with the issue including steps to reproduce. Thanks

 Game by itself just keeps to play, but all YMFM sound gets jammed.

 This bug happens on all Namco system 86 games.

 Using rthunder above, I can only duplicate when using Save States that you explicitly activate in-menu and not from something like -autosave. Correct?

 Tafoid is absolutely right about autosave. I tried it also with another games, using another OPM/N chips, and got same result.

 Should be fixed with the above commit.
