Summary | 07681: pitfight1p2, pitfight6, pitfight7 and pitfight: Input delay in revisions 1, 6, 7 and 9. | ||||
Description |
Revisions 1, 6, 7 and 9 has input delay and amount time delay is random. Select any player character. When the game begins doesn't move the character to be easier to test. Move up or down and you will see that has a delay. If you move twice for left or right the player character makes a movement that avoid CPU attack. In some moments even you making fast twice for left or right doesn't happen that movement. Compare doing that with revision 2 to 5 that doesn't have input delay. In some moments the delay is small and in others moments the delay input is more high. Not programs running in background. Only MAME is running in full screen. That input delay is in MAME since before of 2015. |

Didn't notice any lag here in any of the versions mentioned here, it could be your equipment and/or config settings. |

I tried a couple sets shown above and I don't see any difference in some casual play against others not listed. There is an outside chance you have some video setting which may be buffering/video syncing which may explain some input lag, but to be so specific with the machines listed above, I'm not seeing it. With collaboration from a person has played arcade and emulation extensively, I have no choice but to close this. as not able to reproduce. |
