Summary | 07677: cmi2x: Alphanumeric keyboard doesn't work - regression from 2017 build
Description |
As reported at https://github.com/mamedev/mame/issues/6791 : The OS9 disk boots into the LightWriter WP app, which needs a mouse. However, when shelling out to DOS the keyboard is not selected, so: There's no way to do anything, and There's no way to close the emulation either. Requires machine reboot. A YouTube video from 2017 shows it working correctly, see ---------------------------------------------------- Further testing shows that when a diagnostic disk is used the keyboard doesn't work there either. |
||||
Steps To Reproduce | Simply run the emulation with any Fairlight OS9 disk image.

Issue can be closed. I created the cmi2x.zip ROM file from "official" Fairlight sources and evidently one of the files was bad. Downloading from another source fixed this issue. |
