Summary | 07616: radr, radrj, radru: Wrong sounds. | ||||
Description |
Rad Rally supposed to sound like this in the video. In MAME, some sounds that were recycled from Rad Mobile such as "Go!", "Hey you! Pull Over!", and "What the?" were played in a wrong and garbage sample. If I swap the sound ROM from Rad Mobile to Rad Rally's set (considering Rad Rally was just a modified Rad Mobile), the sound plays correctly like in the video above. Maybe this is either a bad dump or a wrong sound emulation of the System 32 hardware, this plagues Stadium Cross' engine sound as well. |

The ROMs were redumped and two of them were bad. Now they match the ones from Rad Mobile, though the EPR code is different. |
