Summary | 07580: bjtwin: Test Mode button combination doesn't work. | ||||
Description |
To be able to get to the Test Mode, when starting up the machine or resetting, hold Player 2 buttons 1+2. Then "Ready?" will appear, when that happens, press Player 1 Buttons in the following order: 2-2-2, 1-1-1, 2-2-2 and 1-1-1. After that, the release date should apear and you will enter in the Test Mode. Player 2 Buttons 1+2 works fine in this process, but the part for the Player 1 Buttons doesn't work. |

Some code has to be patched out for this to work (see below). The program remaps button 2 and 3 to button 1, so you can't enter the above sequence. This really applies to bjtwin only, which has a buggy routine for the service mode. May as well make some rewording of the note but regardless this bug report is a BTANB to me. |
