Description |
This cartridge can play stored music. The note length is seems to be halved compared to real hardware. The pitch is OK. Since the pitch is OK, I assume I have the clock frequency correct. My current suspect is the timer clock divider in the TMS7000. |

I created a test program that measures the length of a short song using different note lengths and time bases. Download my test disk image: http://www.macmess.org/downloads/SSC.dsk Start the CoCo with coco3 -ext multi -ext:multi:slot3 ssc -flop1 SSC.dsk Type: RUN "SSCTIME" |

The attached picture shows the values produced by the test program on real hardware. The number to look at are the LEN values. The higher the LEN value the long the song played. |
