Description | Attempting to load any Sharp MZ-700 cassette tape will result in the emulator freezing on the text "Play". This happens with every game that I have tried. | ||||

1. Load any Sharp MZ-700 Cassette Tape. 2. Type LOAD and then hit enter. 3. The emulator freezes and the ROM never loads |

Sadly, you need to understand that most computers/consoles are not set up to AUTO LOAD any type of cassette images so you must initiate the LOAD function via the interface (which you do) and then enter the MAME menus and start the tape (PLAY) to start the loading. I detailed how to do that before in a issue you raised about FM-7 Cassettes not loading https://github.com/mamedev/mame/issues/4644 which works for most all instances where cassettes need to be started. Closing as invalid report. Please refrain from posting any more cassette failures until you learn how to operate the hardware in question. |
