Summary | 06893: All multitap games: Bugged inputs when 2 multi-tap inserted | ||||
Description |
When 'multitap' are set for slot ctrl1 and ctrl2, all the buttons for all the gamepads configured are then ultra fastly repeated when kept pressed (like a turbo controller), resulting in the game unable to play properly. Except the repeat rate, all the configured gamepads for the now present multitaps works correctly. The problem only happens when there are 2 multitaps. (only 1 multitap works fine) Also reproduced on sdlmame 64 bits 0.194 for osx |
||||
Steps To Reproduce |
run saturn bomberman on saturneu ingame settings menu > slot devices > set ctrl1 and ctrl2 to multitap > reset wait for screen title, press start, keep down arrow button pressed on controller 1 to observe the too-fast repeat rate |

I also tried this on Street Racer and could reproduce the issue. However, tested on Megaman X3, the game behaves correctly. It seems that only multitap compatible games are affected. |
