Summary | 06501: intv, intvoice, intvecs, intvsrs, intv2: Intellivision game NASL Soccer crashes/freezes when the first goal is scored
Description | Game functions normally until the first goal is scored. It is supposed to pan back to center field for a kickoff; instead it pans to the other goal where the game crashes and must be restarted (eg. F3). I tested in MAME 0.166 and 0.181 both fail the same way. ROM file is named soccer.zip with contents soccer.50. The same rom file plays correctly in another emulator jzIntv.
Steps To Reproduce |
- press direction to start game - press home team direction to kick off -score a goal; (first/second/third button kicks the ball while running) game should pan back to center for a kickoff; instead it pans to the other goal and gets stuck |

That does seem like unusual behavior. Rather than another emulation, I'd like to see someone with the original console show us how it is supposed to react. Anyway, I've confirmed and added a related tag to the other INTV issues you've posted. |

I can confirm that with NASL Soccer on an original console, after a goal it returns to center field for a kick off and continued play. |
