Summary	06431: tmnt and others games: sound volume is low when using Nvidia HD audio
Description	I had posted the report in link below saying ``TMNT if you finish the stage 6 (skate) the sound volume will be lowered from begin of stage 7 to last stage. Also happen with TMNT2 after of finish stage 6.`` http://mametesters.org/view.php?id=6011 The report was closed. Now I see more details about the issue. Here the system is fine using more recent video drivers and not virus or other problem. The issue is when I use the HD audio output from GeForce GT 640 to TV. The TV sound adjust is all off. The Realtek HD audio driver is disabled and just enabled the Nvidia HD Audio. Some games the volume is lowered in same moment. Allways all time. TMNT after stage 6. TMNT 2 after stage 6. P.O.W. Prisioners of War in mid of stage 2. I have tested using Realtek HD Audio analog output with Nvidia HD Audio disabled and in another machine with Intel and Realtek HD Audio using HDMI to TV and in both the sound volume not is lowered. The issue is just when I use Nvidia HD Audio HDMI output to TV. Post an sound record not is possible because if trying to record on sound file using MAME in gameplay when using NVidia HD Audio HDMI output the issue not is recorded in files. I will try to record the sound from my TV using an cell phone and after post here the result. Perhaps an bizarre post you can say, but is an real issue. I sure not is problem in my TV or the system. No.13381 Tafoid Administrator Nov 17, 2016, 21:10	Audio that isn't a straight left and right scenario or that have 'added effects' or simulate different listening areas... I've seen the use of these effects causing issues with sound coming from MAME and other applications in the past which is beyond anything emulation can be the cause of. Since you've focused on one particular device Nvidia HD Audio, I'd have to blame the device in this case.
No.13386 Augusto Tester Nov 17, 2016, 22:56	Any other emulator, video playback or etc using Nvidia HD audio HDMI output to TV not has sound volume issues. TV options are disabled. Nothing of optimize, lowering sound effects or surround. The issue not is random. If others programs had the same issue I will say is problem from Nvidia HD Audio, but the issue is just with MAME selecting TMNT, TMNT2 and pow.

Since nobody else you have the same system configuration, how do we check, test and fix the code?? You should accept the truth that your nVidia HD something has a problem with MAME, and you have many things to do before you send your complaint here.
