Summary 06158: cpc464, cpc6128, genesis, megadriv, snes, snespal (and more..): Wrong captured area size when recording avi output
Description In some systems, when you capture an avi output, the captured area is smaller or distorted regarding the area of the game when playing without capture video.
Steps To Reproduce Load a game with Record Avi output at MAMEUI or MESSUI in some systems like:

cpc464 and clones
genesis and clones
snes and clones
megatech and megaplay genesis based systems
nintendo supersystem
Additional Information Attached ingame and avi output snaps of some affected systems.

Snapshots and AVI always default to 1:1, ie: the actual resolution used by the system.

You can use -snapsize to force a specific resolution that you wish to use and MAME will stretch or shrink the output to that size.

As mentioned, the internal resolutions are used to display 1:1 in snapshots and videos unless otherwise specified.
This is not a bug but a design of the system to ensure data is presented accurately.

Closing as this is intended behavior.
