Description | This game has switch in service menu to switch from aspect 16:9 to 4:3 but mame never changes aspect even I hard reset or quit and run again game. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | Run game, observe visible area. Now enter service mode, game system, monitor and switch it to 4:3. Save configuration in game. Nothing changes even if you run again game. | ||||

I don't believe MAME knows what aspect you're running the game at automatically, nor should it, but you should be able to change it manually to match what the game is set to in the VIDEO OPTIONS menu in MAME. If the 4:3 option is missing in there then it is indeed a bug. (can't test atm) if the 4:3 option is available this can be closed as a non-bug. |

I just did a test doing it the way Haze suggested (VIDEO OPTIONS in mame, and then switching between 16:9 and 4:3) and have found that is working/functions as expected. |

Indeed, options is in mame and works correctly but I was thinking is it should set automatically or works how it is now. That's why I posted this as feature. Anyway it's not a bug. |

I'm going to close this, as I believe the proper procedure is to change this option in the VIDEO OPTIONS menu. It's not done automatically. If any developer disagrees feel free to reopen. |
