Summary 05938: kangaroo: Artifacting of 'trees'
Description Originally, the trees were a solid color. Several cycles ago, changes made it such that it is now 'lined'. Running game at 800x600 causes the trees to be artifacted lines. Reference this MAMEWorld thread:

I don't think it's bug. Game has now 512x240 so scalling by non integer factor will result such picture. That's how opengl and direct3d works. The only way to get correct scanlines is use directdraw without hardware stretching. Just look how original 512x240 was upscaled in Irfanview to 640. Please, open it to see full 640 hight.
