Summary | 05742: apple2cp: The system does not booting. | ||||
Description |
The apple2cp system does not boot the system disk. (Note: The current driver status is working.) The IIc plus 3.5" 800Mb system disk for this test is taken from here => http://apple2online.com/index.php?p=1_24_Software-A-C Edit: It seems that inside of the "apple_iic_plus_system_disk.zip" is an image with extension ".po" that is not supported in newer MESS versions. :-( However, even with an empty floppy drive it seems that something is not working as it should. The whole screen is filled with: ************ |

Additional Information |
Quote from wiki: "By default the machine ran at 4 MHz, but holding down the 'ESC' key during a cold or warm boot disabled the acceleration so it could run at a standard 1 MHz operation — necessary for older software that depended on timing, especially games." Apple IIc Plus Computer Review => |

Broken between 0.142u2 and 0.142u3. Back then there MAME core changes were imported and largely untested so this likely broke from imported changes during that time. |
