I can only confirm the gun offset is wrong. "play looses complete control of crosshair during ram check which appears to fail" ??? Please elaborate. *edit* I'm going to remove that part and assume you meant that: 1) the crosshair disappears when you leave the mouse/gun control alone for a while? --> this is normal 2) the RAM check shows gfx glitches? --> is also normal, it obviously checks VRAM as well 3) think the RAM check takes too long? --> hold the INS button :P |

shortly After booting the game the words RAM CHECK are displayed in white letters. After a few seconds those words blink and change to red which seems like it fails the initial check? Then the entire screen changes to the color of red and it seems like it tries to re-run the RAM CHECK because the letters are white again, but with unusual flying letters on screen while this second check is taking place. If you have mouse 1 or enabled and move the mouse during both these checks, the crosshair moves randomly about the screen in an uncontrollable fashion. The same behavior does not happen if only pressing arrows on the keyboard. I haven't the slightest idea if this behavior is intended or happens on the real hardware. I'm just reporting what I'm observing running this game. |

Like I said, it obviously tests video RAM as well, causing visible glitches during the check. If RAM tests failed, it'd definitely be verbose about it. The gun cursor works fine here with mouse, during these checks, and in the game. I don't know what's causing it to move randomly/uncontrollably in your case. |

This bug is fixed now. If you still get a random/uncontrollable crosshair, it isn't related to this one and you may open a new bug report for it. |

Thank You hap. I believe the random/uncontrollable crosshair is related to this crappy wireless optical mouse I'm using and I should have not mentioned it in this report. I'm gonna just switch out to a ps/2 and I'm sure the problem will probably go away. |
