Summary 04217: X1-010 Sound playback is wrong, garbage or wrong pitch in some instances..
Description The 16 bit PCM Sound Chip X1-010 has a problem playing samples back correctly from ROM. There are a lot of games that use this chip.

Twin Eagle (Seta/Taito)
Listen to Twin Eagle in the Sound test when the music is suppose to loop.
(Also, in game) It loops too early.

Daioh (Athena)

The high score music plays garbage samples.
The Boss music plays the orchestra hits at the wrong pitch.
The 1st level music plays garbage samples on the percussion samples.

Whoops my bad. I haven't been on here in a long time. I didn't remember the report. But this time I have a sound wav sample from a real board.

As of MAME 0.163 -

This fix below has fix Daioh's corrupted sample playback. But it does not fix the Twin Eagle Problem.
All Sound Samples seem to be playing back properly.
