Summary | 03512: jjparads, jjparad2, ryouran, teljan: Lack of mahjong keyboard support
Description | At boot time the games detect the presence of mahjong keyboard, but it only finds joystick instead. Changing Dip switches do not have any effect. This is particular important in Tel Jan, because there are additional cutscene in test mode that are currently not accessible with normal game. The only other clue for this feature is shown after beating Tel Jan's Single player game, it shows pressing BDEF keys causes alternate pictures to appear in the cut scene, which can only be entered with mahjong keyboard. It seems the Super Nova hardware (and possibly other late model arcade machines with old JAMMA ports) are using software detections to find mahjong keyboards as well, not just machines with JVS ports.

Additional Information | The ending screen (teljan-end-0000.png) shows the instruction to make alternate graphics to appear.
