Your argument is ridiculous. All "Clicks", "Blubs", "Shots" and "Explosions" sounds like the original Spectrum version. But the final tune missing. Agroprom is not a heavily hacked game of Pssst! |

How is my argument ridiculous? It's not the original spectrum version, it's been modified, the people who modified it could have done anything they want, including removing some sounds. Not even the font is the same! I can think of several reason why they might want to take it out; for example, the games are timed, maybe there was a conflict between their timer and the music playing, or they thought players wouldn't like it if their seconds were being wasted listening to a tune. It could well be missing, but using the spectrum version as a comparison is as invalid as using ports for comparison on other bugs. If the same code (in MESS) plays the music on the Spectrum version, then it's almost certainly been removed intentionally. |
