Description |
I have renames "ssf2a.zip" to "Super_Street_Fighter_2_-_The_New_challengers_(Asia_931005).zip" and says: No games found. Please check the rompath... I did not see anything mentioned in the FAQ or similar. |

MAME only looks for the setname for a given game. Setnames are meant to be small for ease of use and development and will only be a maximum of 8 characters (for parent sets) and 16 characters (for clones with different regions/revisions). I personally cannot see an advantage allowing full names to be entered on command line. If it's a matter of being able to tell what a set is - simply type "MAME" and type in the setname and the menu will show you what the fullname is. |
