It seems to be a RAM color test as it was reported, but it is neccesary to press the key "Auto Up / Manual Down", which is set in the key 9 by default, to let the color test begin. After pressing the key you see colors changing from black to light: blue, red, green and white. This video I've uploaded is a test with MAME 0.201. The color test is in minute 0:38: It works perfect in MAME 0.201, but it didn't work nice in MAME 0.106. After pressing the key "auto up" it took about 1 minute or 2 for the screen to change colors in the color test. So it might have been a bug back then. It doesn't ocurr now anyway.
