Summary | 03131: SDLMAME window steals mouse pointer
Description | Starting in version 0.127 and continuing to the latest release (currently 0.131), running SDLMAME in a window hides the mouse pointer. I can no longer interact with anything on my desktop except the game, and can only retrieve the mouse pointer by hitting Esc to exit the game. This makes running MAME in a window rather impractical.
Steps To Reproduce |
I've tested this on Debian and Fedora -- both i686 arches -- but can only reproduce the problem on Debian. I've heard reports of this on Ubuntu as well. May be a lower level issue, such as libsdl or Xorg. 1. $ sdlmame -window -nomaximize <some-game> 2. Mouse pointer disappears. 3. Press 'Esc' to exit game. 4. Mouse pointer restored. |
