The source speaks of "* handle fake button for speed cheat for players 1 and 2" So I think it was hacked in by some mamedev to test the game, but it probably didn't really exist. |

Not having the skill on non-running events (skeet for instance) - I chose to adjust the score in ram to test. I set the score after starting the game via debug to just under 200000 [Main CPU Ram location 3028-302b (3028:19, 3029:99) = score of 199900] then finishing the first event. My score goes over 200000 without problems. While I don't think the cheat keymap is explicitly at fault - that mapping clearly needs to be active only if -CHEAT is active. A save state just before the problem would be beneficial here. |

Cheat is being removed for 0.131. We removed the track & field ones ages ago, this one should follow. |
