Summary | 03076: scobra: [possible] Missing fanfare after Intro Music
Description |
There is a fanfare which plays on all sets of Super Cobra but the main set. Sets scobras, scobrase, scobrab, suprheli all play the famous fanfare whereas scobra does not. The fanfare is in all ports of the game that I am aware of, even on the Atari 2600! That alone doesn't prove it's a bug, so I label it as possible, pending some PCB/code examination. |

Additional Information | More testing leads me to believe this might be a BTANB. I put in "scobras" into M1 and it plays the full intro+fanfare on track 9. The parent scobra only plays the Intro on that same track 9 and continues to the next track as if there is no more data to play. It is still unusual, though :)

BTANB, see This video says "bootleg" but I think it's a legitimate Konami set based off the main one. |
