Summary 00298: atlantis, scramble: The volume of the pulse noise too high and you can not hear the shoot sound.
Description The volume of the pulse noise too high and you can not hear the shoot sound. The volume of the strange pulse noise can be set with (AY-8910 #1 Ch C Volume 16%) to 5%. But after a RESET the noise is too high again.

 Scramble as of 0124u1 uses discrete audio to filter and mix signals. All Values taken from schematics.

 While I can't verify whether the sound is ok or not, Gary Walton's side-by-side test (bug 1028) mentions that sound is very wrong in MAME. Reading his report, the same volume discrepancies he mentions still exist in MAME as of 0.124u1.

 It should - but I was not able to dig up a scramble sound recording on the net. Would be nice to have one for comparison. Directions welcome ....

 Thanks, ubuntu/sound card do not support output as sound source.
The scramble case looks really weird....
