Summary | 02957: soulclbr, tektagt and clones: Screen is offset by 9 pixels in-game | ||||
Description |
Now that Soul Calibur's been upgraded to working status, there has been one thing that's been bugging me since the game was added way back in the 0.7x releases. It's not really a graphics glitch as such (such posts would not be accepted with the GAME_IMPERFECT_GRAPHICS flag, are are usually trivial 3D bugs), but the entire screen is shifted to the right by 9 pixels. The same thing also affects the Tekken Tag [tektagt] sets, but surprisingly not Tekken 3 or any other games in the driver. It only occurs when the game goes into 512 or 640 pixel mode, e.g. in-game, not at the boot-up color bars or during the intro video. It is more noticeable in tektagt since the player 2 health bar (tagged out character) is cut off on the right. |
