Summary | 02681: foodf: Player always faces right when standing still | ||||
Description |
After a successful NVRAM calibration, the player character will always face right when the joystick returns to center. In the original game, the player would face in whatever direction the player was moving prior to the joystick returning to center. As far as I can tell, the joystick is being read correctly (as evidenced by the machine's service mode), and mouse input seems to work. I believe this to be a problem with the 'return to center' function of the joystick code for this driver. |
