Summary	01988: pleiads, pleiadce: Melody sound is missing in Pleiads
Description	I found this Youtube video (Pleiads (Centuri)): And it plays a little melody in the attract mode :) Found a Pleiads (Tehkan) video. It plays the same melody like the (Centuri) version. According to Mike McBike (http://www.wolfgangrobel.de/arcadereps5/pleiades.htm) it uses the Epson Melody Generator "7910E".

No.01533 M.A.S.H. Senior Tester Jul 7, 2008, 22:57	Gyrovision (MAME Chat): Yes there is/was. Not sure when the shoot sound vanished. Pleiads sounds are completely wrong in MAME and always have been. Custom sound hardware like Phoenix. You can hear what the real game sounded like in this attached mp3 courtesy of Dan Hower.
No.01534 M.A.S.H. Senior Tester Jul 7, 2008, 23:00	You can here the melody if you change Pleiads to use the Phoenix machine from GAME( 1981, pleiads, 0, pleiads,... to GAME( 1981, pleiads, 0, phoenix,... and set the 'Demo Sound' dipswitch to 'OFF'.
No.01558 Fortuna Tester Jul 9, 2008, 06:12	as about 16 to 18 years ago, I saw this game, with another background music, very different, possibly a bootleg not emulated. I think it should report more about this game, clone called "Capitol", is the nearest to the sound that was in that video.
