http://www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=mametesters&Number=125106 Haze mentions: "the scratchy sound is confirmed on real hardware, it's caused because they don't respect some internal limits of the chip. early, worse emulators don't have the scratchy sound because they don't care about the limits." If you can get some recordings from the original board to document if the emulation is in error, please do. Any other Dev comments? |

>I remember Courriersud talking about resubmitting a fix a > few versions ago but no trace in the whatsnew release following this mention The fixes for the YM2610 were submitted. These were related to 01767. Haze should have a lot more knowledge about neogeo than I do have. |

the scratchy sound on jumping is corerct, confirmed with the real hardware. it is not a bug. it doesn't happen in neorage because neorage doesn't emulate the internal limits of the chip properly. |
