Summary | 01680: area88, unsquad: DOT TEST in service mode shows garbage chars | ||||
Description |
In service mode, the DOT TEST screen shows garbage characters. The game uses character codes 0x007B-0x007E instead of 0x307B-0x307E to draw the screen. While this can be fixed using a kludge, it doesn't fit the idea I have of how the hardware should work, therefore it should be verified on the PCB before any action is taken. |
