Summary	01163: popbounc: MAME doesn't support paddle input.
Description	The service mode for popbounc allows an alternate controller, "paddle", to be used. MAME does not support this. It could require a different BIOS file, similar to (but not the same as) irrmaze, though it more likely just has never been implemented. Update :Could be because the home version used paddles.

(I don't know neogeo enough to reach a conclusion)

I would say this proves that paddle is supported. ~~However, there are still some input issues and I will open a separate report for these (once 0.130u3 is out and the issues can be tested/confirmed)~~ [the issues I was mentioning were due to a local problem: there seems to be no more problems with popbounc... just wait for u3 to enjoy this :) ]

I'm going to close this based on the following: if you select paddle in the service menu and then unmap joystick inputs from the input menu of the UI, you can play the game.
