Given this driver was rewritten - was there any indication that this assertion is true? I have for along time though this cannot be an accurate report and might be either flat out false or mis-remembered.. |

From what I can gather: * none of the System 1 games are capable of speech/plays any speech; * there isn't any "yeah" sample in sound test mode; * there isn't any wave-form in the sound rom that indicates a speech; |

I have seen an I am sorry pcb on a japanese auction and it's a standard system1 pcb so there is no speech circuitry. I think we can resolve this bug ;) |

chances are if there is an I'm Sorry with speech it isn't a set we have dumped tho, Kale's original points about there being no speech in the rom, and no entry for it in the sound test are still valid.. |
